Why Portofino

## A Italy stay with 2 genuinely distinct ways to experience the destination.

Portofino rewards a precise hotel choice: location changes the daily rhythm, while service style determines whether the stay feels formal, residential or quietly efficient.

Our directory includes every currently operating hotel in the documented luxury taxonomy once the market clears the two-property threshold. Here that means 2 hotels across 1 brands, including Belmond. The breadth is useful: these are not interchangeable expressions of luxury.

We start with trip intent, preferred location and the service cadence you enjoy, then compare the strongest rooms and the benefits confirmed for the dates. That keeps the recommendation specific to Portofino, rather than reducing the choice to a ranked list.
